basketball

I had basketball practice today my teachers are Mr Riceman and Joseph. First we play a game called pressure. If you  get the ball in the hoop then the person behind has pressure and if they miss there out but if you get it in even though  you have pressure the person behind you gets pressure.

Second thing we did  was layups and rebounds  if you don't know what layups are it when you run up to the hoop and shoot and a rebound is where you retrieve the ball when someone shoots.

Third thing we did was a game it was fun we were separated in two teams  one with bibs and no bibs I was one of the bibs the non bibs won .

Matariki activities

Yesterday Te Waka Ako did Matariki activities we had three rotations first we went in to  Hauraki and  made some kites out of  bamboo  and strips you would make some patterns.

The next  activity I did was some baking we made fried bread  you just need flour  and one cup of water then fry it put some butter  and some syrup I call it The Golden Deluxe.


The last 
activity is stop motion,  we made stories about Matariki or a Maori legends using stop motion if you don't know what stop motion is it is an app use for making videos.

Cross-Country

On Thursday the 2nd of July. We had cross-country it fantastic  we had activities.  The first activity was the  playground where you could chill and play. The other one is tennis. My favorite is hand ball, if you don't know what hand ball is, it is a game were you use your hand to bounce the ball to the other side of the line.  The Blind fold game. You need two people and one is Blind folded  and the other one tells them were to go and pick up bean bags. The 2nd to last one is were you watch people run around the field and through our bush around the pool then through in front of our class room.
The last activity was running dun dun dun the year 5 boys went first then the year 5 girls I kinda hate running but it will make me fitter.
