Emergency pack

What do you think you should have if there was an emergency  Like the one on Friday during lockdown  at 2 am, and 9 am  there was  earthquakes, alarms that were going off  it was scary so what would you have in a situation like that. this was what Te Waka Ako has been talking about what would be in your emergency kit if there was an emergency. This is what I  would have for my emergency pack flashlight, batteries, blanket, phone, toilet paper, cards, food (that doesn't rotten like fruits), medication, water, charger, clothes, and books.
That's what would have for my emergency  pack.

Lockdown take 4.

Malo e lele bloggers during lockdown  Te Waka Ako  had online school  we had to follow the instructions on the Te Waka Ako home page. We had a document were our work is put so it is easier for our teacher to mark. there was four rows one for each subject like maths, Reading, writing, And others. My favourite was the basic facts test my cousin set the timer first I did the ones I knew then to the tricky ones. We also had a lockdown diary  to record what was awesome about our day and other stuff.

What was I feeling .
I didn't like how we had to go back into lockdown. What I liked about lockdown  I liked watching  a movie called Lent. Now i'm happy to be back at school and grateful to not be in lockdown.

Mindfulness

                               Mindfulness

Yesterday it was our last session  of mindfulness. First we did yoga poses like downward dog, butterfly pose, and others yoga pose. Then we had to listen to our surroundings and see what we could hear. We had to focus on our breathing while laying down.  Then we had to group up in pairs and do these poses with your partner like the boat. It's when you lift your legs and put them together and hold each other to make a boat. Then we had talk about what you were feeling then we played a game where you have to get the hoop through you while in a circle. Mindfulness helps me sleep and it was a good experience. Blog you later.

summer learning journey

Do you know what the Summer learning journey is? Well today Mr Maggerts came to tell us all about it. The Summer Learning Journey is something you can do during the summer holidays like blogging. You follow the instructions it has on the site to complete the activities and you will get points for finishing. If you get the most points you could win prizes. We did a teaser activity today. We got to colour pictures like the Big Ben, Taj Mahal, and other well known paintings. The one I did was  a painting of a Chinese woman brushing her beautiful hair. Well if you  like colouring then this is the thing for you. Here is my picture and the original. Can you tell which is which? Click on the Link to go to the site. Hope you have fun with the site.
